The Netherlands String Quartet Academy (NSQA), a unique institute in the Netherlands, is totally committed to providing a specialised string quartet education for young and talented musicians. In this way the NSQA performs a role as a catalyst for the development of the string quartet in the Netherlands. Quartets such as the Matangi and the Rubens Quartet, who studied at the NSQA, have succeeded in winning a permanent place on the national and international concert podiums.

The Foundation Friends of the NSQA was set up in 2003. By becoming a friend of the NSQA you will help to make it possible to organise a post-graduate curriculum for young string quartets. Besides quartet lessons, this curriculum includes quartet analysis, string quartet history and cultural entrepreneurship.

If you wish to support the NSQA and by this young Dutch string quartet musicians, then every contribution is welcome. All revenue benefits the students exclusively; therefore the NSQA does not offer anything expensive in return. However, you are very welcome to attend the monthly master classes and open examinations (for an overview see Agenda). We will gladly keep you informed of our activities by means of our monthly e-flyer.

The Foundation Netherlands String Quartet Academy is an institute registered with the tax authorities (ANBI).
